POMBO undertakes to do everything in its power to protect the fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals, namely with regard to the protection of their personal data, as a fundamental right protected both by European legislation and by Portuguese legislation.

POMBO shall collect your personal data when you contact us by phone, e-mail, through the website or even in person, and this is limited to what is strictly necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are processed.

a. If you contact us through the means of communication associated with POMBO or its employees.

Our services are not intended for young people under the age of 16 and, accordingly, we do not collect, or intend to collect, their data. PURPOSE AND LEGAL BASIS FOR DATA PROCESSING RETENTION PERIODS

The principles under which POMBO processes your data are as follows:
a. Consent: a manifestation of specific, informed, explicit and free will, through which the data owner agrees that his/her personal data may be processed by POMBO, by means of a declaration or an unequivocal positive act.

We shall ask for your consent to retain the personal data on your application or curriculum vitae, with the purpose of contacting you during the recruitment process or so that you can be considered in future applications.
This data will be stored for a period of 1 year, or for a different period, if requested.

You also have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, without compromising the lawfulness of any processing done on the basis of previously given consent.

b. Within the scope of enforcing a contract or for the pre-contractual steps at the request of the data owner. We process your personal data in order to provide you with our services.
The data collected from our Customers will be retained while there is a contractual relationship and, once this has ended, for a period of 20 years, in accordance with the legal provisions.

c. Legitimate interest: your personal data may be necessary to perform certain activities related to POMBO’s business. We shall process your data on the basis of legitimate interest, except in cases in which your privacy rights and data protection prevail.

All personal data collected by POMBO shall be processed according to the law and to the General Data Protection Regulation.

POMBO does not retain your data for any longer than is necessary in relation to the purpose for which they were collected. In order to determine the appropriate retention period, we consider the quantity, nature and sensitivity of personal data and the purposes for which we process these data.

When we no longer need your data, they will be securely deleted.

We also undertake to minimise the data we collect to what is strictly necessary in relation to the purpose for which they were collected.
